Transitional Housing for Women
Stable, medium-term accommodation and support
TeamHEALTH provides transitional housing and support for women and children experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness, including those impacted by domestic and family violence.
The program offers stable, medium-term accommodation for people who are no longer in immediate crisis but need a place to live while planning their next steps towards long-term housing, wellbeing and independence.
With funding for the purchase of homes awarded by the Australian Government, The Treasury, the program has been designed to support healing, recovery and wellbeing. Alongside accommodation, residents receive personalised support to help them connect with services, develop goals, strengthen their wellbeing, and work towards sustainable housing outcomes.
What we offer
The program provides transitional accommodation, typically for around 6 to 12 months depending on individual circumstances, along with support to:
- Build confidence and skills for independent living
- Strengthen safety, wellbeing and social connections
- Access housing, health and community services
- Develop plans for sustainable, long-term housing
Our focus is on helping people move forward safely, confidently and sustainably.
