What is Short Term Accommodation (STA)?
Short Term Accommodation (STA) is a NDIS-funded support that provides temporary respite for people living with psychosocial disability or mental health concerns, as well as their families and carers. At TeamHEALTH, STA is more than just a break—it’s an opportunity to recharge, refocus, and continue your recovery journey in a culturally safe, supportive environment.
Who is STA for?
Our STA program is designed for people who:
• Have an NDIS plan with STA or respite funding
• Live with a psychosocial disability or complex mental health needs
• Would benefit from a short-term change of environment and extra support
• Want to maintain or build their wellbeing, life skills, and independence
Our Approach
