We are currently recruiting for: 

Mental Health Recovery Worker, PHaM

Position Type: Full Time

Location: Darwin

The Adults Support Stream provides a range of Programs focused on increasing opportunities for recovery for adults whose lives are severely affected by mental illness.  The aim is to support recovery, reduce social isolation and provide practical supports to increase independence in the Community.

The Personal Helpers and Mentors provides rural and remote outreach based supports aimed at increasing independence and wellbeing through practical supports and community participation.

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Mental Health Recovery Worker provides outreach support to participants using the psychosocial rehabilitation framework, with a focus on supports that are person centred, recovery focused, strengths based, timely and culturally appropriate. 

This position is a fixed term contract to 30 June 2019.

Child and Family Wellbeing Worker

Position Type: Full Time

Location: Darwin

The aim of the Child and Family Wellbeing Service is to support children and young people who are showing early signs of, or are at risk of developing a mental illness, to improve their wellbeing and enable them to better participate in their communities and reach their full potential.

Reporting to and working closely with the Team Leader, the Child and Family Wellbeing Worker will deliver strength based case management and activities to children, young people and families in line with program guidelines.  Outreach support is also provided to assist in the development and implementation of participant centred Family Action Plans.

Possessing qualifications in a relevant health or welfare area the successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in working with children, young people and families in the application of a strength based approach and competence in a range of interventions relevant to children and young people.

This position is a fixed term contract to 30 June 2019.
