Two Ways Mentor

Position Type: Part Time

Location: Darwin

The Two-Way Mentoring Program aims to increase the economic and community participation of individuals who experience psychosocial disability. The program has two components:

- The provision of training and mentorship to non-mental health organisations so they can best attract and support individuals with a psychosocial disability.

- The provision of peer-led mentoring to individuals with psychosocial disability who wish to be employed and who are facing barriers to accessing existing career and work placement pathways.

Reporting to the Executive Manager and under the day to day direction of the Coordinator, the Two Way Mentor will participate as part of a small team in the collaborative development of resources and processes for the Two-Way Mentoring Program as well as provide support and mentorship for the participants involved in the Program.

This position is available on a part time basis and is a fixed term contract up to 30 June 2024.

Mental Health Recovery Worker - Katherine

Position Type: Full Time

Location: Katherine

TeamHEALTH’s Adult Supports aims to provide increased opportunities for recovery for people whose lives are severely affected by mental illness. The aim is to support recovery, reduce social isolation and provide practical supports to increase independence in the community.Reporting to the Team Leader, Rural and Remote, the Mental Health Recovery Worker provides outreach support to participants using the psychosocial rehabilitation framework, with a focus on supports that are person centred, recovery focused, strengths based, timely and culturally appropriate.
