In collaboration with Balanced Choice, the program offers a safe environment where young people can participate in activities that promote physical health, build positive relationships, and explore personal development.
The program also aims to strengthen the relationship between young people and the adults around them, fostering positive interactions and enhancing the quality of these relationships.
By combining physical activity with creative expression and emotional learning, Court Side Cook Out provides a comprehensive platform for youth to thrive and connect with their community.
Tuning in to Kids
This is an evidence-based, emotion-focused parenting program designed to help parents and caregivers of children aged 3-10 years develop emotional intelligence in their children. The program teaches parents how to recognise, understand, and respond to their children's emotions in an accepting and supportive way, fostering stronger parent-child relationships and promoting emotional wellbeing.
Dads Tuning in to Kids
This group is a tailored adaptation of the Tuning into Kids program, specifically designed to enhance the emotional connection between fathers and their children. This program focuses on helping fathers understand and manage their own emotions while teaching them how to guide their children in recognising and handling their emotions. By participating, fathers can strengthen their relationships with their children and contribute positively to their emotional development.
