Indigenous Literacy Day 2019

We'd like to introduce you to Russell, who has agreed to be our ambassador for Indigenous Literacy Day for 2019! Together we are taking the opportunity to celebrate our participants who, like Russell, are making a huge effort to improve their learning and literacy skills. Russell enjoys attending STEPS Education & Training regularly and we are really proud of the achievements that Russell has made!
This national day was begun in an effort to raise awareness and money to boost literacy levels in remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Since then it has grown to include the celebration of Indigenous culture, stories and literacy!
