Health Professionals

The prevalence of mental illness appears to be increasing, however it is more likely that society’s awareness is increasing and the associated stigma is beginning to decrease.

It is our aim to assist everyone to understand mental illness so that they can help those in need.

The disorders described here are by no means exhaustive and the information is not a substitute for a comprehensive medical assessment and diagnosis.

It is part of our awareness campaign and to some extent a “demystification” of the symptoms of mental illness.

The education programs we have available is another step in this process, especially assisting in how to recognise early symptoms of mental health issues.
