Teen Mental Health First Aid
Developing mental health problems covered are: anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, eating disorders, alcohol and other drug use disorders and psychotic disorders
Mental health crisis situations covered are: Suicidal thoughts and behaviours, non-suicidal self-injury (sometimes called deliberate self-harm), being very intoxicated from alcohol and other drugs and bullying or abuse
This is recommended for schools, whole year groups and youth groups aged 12- 17 years and can be delivered as a recommended package with Youth Mental Health First Aid for teachers and workers.
