We work closely with remote community groups, other local specialist service providers, such as Top End Mental Health Services (TEMHS), Aboriginal Medical Services, drug/alcohol services and other non-government organisations.

  Position Name:   Property Coordinator
Location: Darwin
Description:
The TEAMhealth Housing Stream aims to provide safe, stable and affordable medium to long term independent living accommodation to members of the community that are working towards their mental health recovery.

Located in the Business Services Program the Community Housing Service (CHS) has over 22 properties that provide medium to long term housing options for participants who have the capacity to live independently.  The CHS focuses on delivering best practice community housing, engaging participants to develop skills to maintain and retain suitable housing.

Reporting to the Business Services Manager the Property Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day management of TEAMhealth's housing properties which includes the provision of end to end occupancy and property management services and solutions.  The Property Coordinator will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the applicable policies and instructions related to housing management, property maintenance, rent collection, arrears management and rent reviews.

  Position Name:   Mental Health Recovery Worker, D2DL
Location: Darwin
Description:
The Adult Supports Stream provides a range of Programs focused on increasing opportunities for recovery for adults whose lives are severely affected by mental illness. The aim is to support recovery, reduce social isolation and provide practical supports to increase independence in the Community.

Within the Day to Day Living (D2DL) Program TEAMhealth delivers services and activities with the aim to improve social and health outcomes for people living with severe and persistent mental illness, through structured socially based activities.

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Mental Health Recovery Worker will assist individuals with severe and persistent mental illness in a strength based, psychosocial rehabilitation framework approach in the delivery of structured and socially based day programs that aims to improve the quality of life for individuals. 

This position is a fixed term contract to 30 June 2019.

  Position Name:   Senior Child and Family Wellbeing Worker
Location: Gunbalanya
Description:

The aim of the Child and Family Wellbeing Service is to support children and young people who are showing early signs of, or are at risk of developing a mental illness, to improve their wellbeing and enable them to better participate in their communities and reach their full potential.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Gunbalanya, the Senior Child and Family Wellbeing Worker will assist in the development, implementation and delivery of the Child and Family Wellbeing Service Program to Aboriginal people in the Gunbalanya Community and surrounding outstations and in mentoring  key workers to build capacity and capabilities in the provision of culturally appropriate, strengths based recovery and rehabilitation strategies to participants.

This position is full time and contracted to 30 June 2020.

The successful person must be willing to live in Gunbalanya.

  Position Name:   Senior Support Coordinator
Location: Darwin
Description:
Reporting to the Business Transition Manager the Senior Support Coordinator will take a lead role in the development of a support coordination framework in readiness for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) roll-out in the Northern Territory.  They will also champion the provision of support to participants, their families and carers in identifying and connecting with appropriate providers to support participants in the achievement of the objectives of their NDIS plan.

The position is a full time 12 month contract.
