Our services are person centred, focused on support, recovery and rehabilitation, and provided within the framework of the National Mental Health Plan and Standards. We work closely with remote community groups, other local specialist service providers, such as Top End Mental Health Services (TEMHS), Aboriginal Medical Services, drug/alcohol services and other non-government organisations.

Location: Darwin
Description:
The Adult Supports Stream aims to provide increased opportunities for recovery for people whose lives are severely affected by mental illness. The aim is to support recovery, reduce social isolation and improve employment outcomes.

Reporting to the relevant Team Leader, the Mental Health Recovery Worker provides outreach support to participants in a strength based, psychosocial rehabilitation framework, with a focus on supports that are recovery focus, strength based, timely and culturally appropriate.

Full time and Part time positions available.

Description:
The Adult Supports Stream aims to provide increased opportunities for recovery for people whose lives are severely affected by mental illness. The aim is to support recovery, reduce social isolation and improve employment outcomes.

Reporting to the relevant manager, the Team Leader provides overall management and leadership. The Team leader will play a key role in supporting and coaching the Mental Health Recovery and Peer Support Workers in delivering a recovery focused, timely and culturally appropriate program.

This is full time contracted position.

  Position Name:   Team Leader, Residential Services
Location: Darwin
Description:
The Residential Services support people with mental illness into independent living in the Community. The aim is to support recovery, reduce social isolation and improve independent living and employment outcomes. TEAMhealth's Residential Services use a strength based approach, and provide intensive one-to one support.

Reporting to the individual Support Manager, the Team Leader provides overall management and leadership of the Residential Services facilities. The Team Leader will play a key role in supporting and coaching the Coordinators, Mental Health Recovery Workers and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Workers with the facilities to deliver recovery focused, strengths based support and timely, culturally appropriate case management. 

This is a full time contracted position.

  Position Name:   Support Coordinator
Location: Darwin
Description:
As an integral part of the Support Coordination team, the Support Coordinator will provide direct support to participants, their family and carers in identifying and connecting providers to participants in the achievement of the objectives of their NDIS Plan. Reporting to the Senior Support Coordinator, you will work closely to ensure that TEAMhealth's NDIS Support Coordination is provided in a person centered, recovery focused manner.  

This position is a full time 12 month contract.

  Position Name:   Senior Support Coordinator
Location: Darwin
Description:
Reporting to the Business Transition Manager the Senior Support Coordinator will take a lead role in the development of a support coordination framework in readiness for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) roll-out in the Northern Territory.  They will also champion the provision of support to participants, their families and carers in identifying and connecting with appropriate providers to support participants in the achievement of the objectives of their NDIS plan.

The position is a full time 12 month contract.

  Position Name:   Child and Family Wellbeing Worker
Location: Palmerston
Description:

The aim of the Child and Family Wellbeing Service is to support children and young people who are showing early signs of, or are at risk of developing a mental illness, to improve their wellbeing and enable them to better participate in their communities and reach their full potential.

Reporting to and working closely with the Team Leader, the Child and Family Wellbeing Worker will deliver strength based case management and activities to children, young people and families in line with program guidelines.


This position is contracted to 30 June 2020.
