Coordinator Respite, Central Australia

We are seeking suitable applicants for the position of Coordinator Respite, Central Australia for a fixed term contract to 30 June 2014.  TEAMhealth’s Respite Program provides options for people caring for a person with a mental illness.  The program provides flexible respite options including in home respite, day activities  and overnight breakaway trips

The Coordinator Respite is responsible for the supervision and support of one full-time Respite Worker and service delivery to families under the supervision and support of the Team Leader based in Darwin.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated understanding of the recovery model and psychosocial rehabilitation as well as demonstrated experience in the delivery of services to people with a mental illness and psychiatric disability in a community setting.  The successful applicant will be required to have a National Police Clearance.
